EEG module

The alpha trace NeuroSpeed EEG module focuses on usability and speed, setting the standard for what is needed by an EEG specialist.

EEG Overview

Set markers with the mouse or from the function keys including „free text“ markers. Create shortcuts to your predefined markers and distinguish them by colour. Move markers during the recording or reviewing. Choose from the marker list and jump directly to the position in the EEG.

Simply switch montages with the „Next“ button or select from the list of montages. Montages are stored and saved with the recording. Once a montage is set, it is available network-wide.

Live review

At any time during the recording of an EEG you may open a split-screen window to review already recorded EEG, remontage, measure, analyse or report. Create a live connection and watch the recording live from any computer in the network.

Calibration and impedance

An automatic function test (calibration) and the impedance test with graphic display are standard. Calibration results and impedance values are stored for documentation and may be switched on or off.

Provocation methods

Markers are automatically set for photic stimulation and hyperventilation periods. The Photic Stimulator is software controlled using either a manual selection of flash frequencies or preprogrammed photic sequences. Timers for photic stimulation, hyperventilation and post timers are automatically switched on.

To review a recorded EEG select the session from the GraphicWorkingPlan and it’s all at your fingertips: patient and recording information, marker and event list, manual and automatic paging with adjustable paging speed, remontaging, measurements of amplitude, time-difference, and frequency, review of prior EEG traces and much more.

Report generation

Speed up your report generation using your own report templates and the auto text function. Database contents such as patient name and birth data are automatically inserted into the report file. With the SpeedLink function you can, with the click of a button, add an EEG or Brain Map (optional QEEG module) page to the report.
